Integrated Combatives Shooting Course—March 30-April 3

Blauer Tactical Systems (BTS) and Viking Tactics (VTAC) join forces to create the first Integrated Combatives Shooting Course at the BTS world headquarters and training facility in Virginia Beach, VA. This LFX and CQB specific program identifies the S.P.E.A.R. System’s™ dynamic tactical applications with full gear/kit during room clearing operations. The inclusion of LFX drills with VTAC's experienced Operator Instructors makes this training second-to-none in terms of realism and practicality. Leave no doubt, you will train as you fight!

The S.P.E.A.R. System™ represents the only fully-ambidextrous CQC tactic and does not require the operator to slow down or stutter step to line up a kick or strike. The S.P.E.A.R. System's options for the operator are diverse, from addressing threat levels like the classic no-shoot belligerent, to unarmed but still very dangerous assailants, and even applications to clear bystanders and the classic 'Stockholm Syndrome' hostage. The S.P.E.A.R. System is compatible with high-speed transitions from long guns & hand guns.

This course will teach you the skills to allow you to operate safely as a member of an entry team or as a Patrol Rifle Officer. This course is fast pace yet thorough. We stress basic fundamentals, and then ask for these fundamentals to be applied in extreme situations. Physically demanding, the course will cover the following areas:

Close Quarter Battle is both a Stand-up and a Team Event. The lessons learned in combat situations in Somalia, Bosnia, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Law Enforcement crisis sites around the world have taught us that, though you may or may not utilize your primary weapon system, you will always put your hands on resistant and sometimes aggressive noncombatants. Difficult and complex scenarios, combined with sound shooting and CQB tactics, create the most realistic training environment you will ever encounter. No-Room-To-Shoot/No-Time-To-Shoot Operator School—April 7-9

BTS has developed a very direct, efficient and effective CQC program that can be dynamically applied in 'less-than-lethal' confrontations, as well as in lethal exchanges where proximity negates the spontaneous use of the operator's primary weapon system. Known as the S.P.E.A.R. System™ (Spontaneous Protection Enabling Accelerated Response), it integrates gross motor tactics that are effective for tactical operations, as well as personal defense skills.

This is a CQB specific program that identifies the S.P.E.A.R. System’s dynamic tactical applications with full gear/kit during room clearing operations. The S.P.E.A.R. System is compatible with high-speed transitions from long guns & hand guns.
